This is is used to show what the girl has notice, which is the discovery of her ex with another lover, also match on actions so that we can see clearly the transitions of what she is looking at.
Point of View (POV)
In this case, the POV used collerlate with the expression of the girl featured. It emphasis the emotion of distress and confusion, as well as the 3rd emotion of fear developed from the two other emotions.
